Growthspace is the practice of Nicola Graham, a medical doctor who focuses on sustainable behaviour change; ways of coping and thriving through life transitions; and finding work/life balance and meaning. The practice provides a respectful environment for people to reflect and gain clarity in order to move forward effectively. Nicola uses an evidence-based, client-centred, positive approach for people who are:
(e.g. a new diagnosis, or change in role or function)
- coping with loss or bereavement
- dealing with anxiety or emotional stressors
- needing sustainable behaviour change for improved health and wellness
(e.g. weight loss, adapting to chronic medication, prioritizing and boundary setting)
She also provides a service for health professionals who wish to:
- regain a sense of balance and well-being in significantly challenging conditions
- deal with career anxiety, or expand or transition their work focus
- enhance skills in counseling patients around difficult issues or sustainable behaviour change
